Day 1 CALGARY — KELOWNA

Overview

Experience a scenic summer journey through the Rocky Mountains to wine tasting in Kelowna’s Okanagan Valley and a relaxing lakeside stop at Kelowna City Park by Okanagan Lake.

Depart in the morning from the meeting point and marvel at the spectacular scenery of the iconic Rocky Mountains, a renowned and symbolic mountain range in North America. Pass through the famous Roger's Pass, known for its steep terrain, and visit the ideal locations of Three Valley Gap for sightseeing and capturing picturesque landscapes. After we arrive Kelowna, the tour involves visiting an award-winning winery. At the winery, you can personally taste various fine wines and have the opportunity to purchase the famous ice wine. Ice wine is a dessert wine made frm grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. This unique wine-making process gives the ice wine its distinct sweetness and complexity. Finally, we will go to Kelowna City Park, and you can explore Okanagan Lake there. Okanagan Lake is renowned for its lake monster called Ogopogo. This large and mythical creature is said to live in the depths of the lake and has been the subject of numerous sightings and legends. The lake is a beautiful destination, and travelers can just simply relax and soak up the serene atmosphere.

Day 2 KELOWNA — CALGARY

Overview

Savor a perfect summer day with hands-on fruit picking, creamy farm-made ice cream, a stop at the historic Last Spike, and a scenic break in Yoho National Park before returning to Calgary.

On the 2nd day of the trips, it begins with a visit to a fruit farm in the morning. At the fruit farm, travelers can experience the joy of picking fresh fruit directly from the trees or bushes and purchase them at a discounted price. This activity can be a fun and unique experience for many people, especially those who live in urban areas and don't have regular access to fresh fruits. After the fruit farm, the trip will continue to a famous ice cream farm where you can indulge in delicious homemade ice cream. Homemade ice cream often uses natural and fresh ingredients, and can be a delightful treat on a hot day or as a dessert after a meal. On the return journey, the group will pass by the Last Spike, which is a famous memorial site of the Pacific Railway. The Last Spike marks the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885, and it is an important landmark in Canadian history. Finally, the trip will stop at the Yoho National Park rest stop, where travelers can take a break, relax and enjoy the stunning natural scenery. The trip is expected to conclude in Calgary around 20:00 PM, marking the end of the two-day enjoyable journey.
